Challenge Yourself by Ordering Out from a Local Restaurant!

2016-04-24 Sarah Lin Ringy001翻译特工

Since we have been receiving many requests asking for help with placing deliveries, today we are going to talk about how to have a quick meal by making a phone call to order food from your favorite local restaurants.

First you will have to grab a delivery food menu from the restaurant. How does one ask for a delivery food menu?

Here you go: 请   给  我  一   张     外   卖   单。

qǐng gěi wǒ  yī zhāng wài mài dān 。

Take a picture of the menu. Send it to Ringy. Tell Ringy: 1) would you like to have noodles or rice and what meat/vegetables you would like to have, 2) the way you would like it to be prepared and 3) whether or not you are fine with spicy food.

Combining your preferences, we will be able to tell you what options they have to meet your needs. More than that, RINGY's interpreters can also teach you how to pronounce the foods’ names and the words you need to get it so that you can pick up some basic Chinese phrases and place your order on the phone. Did I mention that RINGY is a free service? Feel free to ask RINGY for help.

If you would like to know about the whole menu, you can upload a picture of the menu with a request and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

How to do this?

Go to our conversation page. Tap the bottom left button to go back to the menu, then in the middle of our menu, click 【MEET】 and you will see "DOC. TRANSLATION" at the bottom. It's linked to a form where you can submit your translation request.
